Target Marketing List Corporation does not send unsolicited text messages. All SMS conversations are initiated by the consumer. Here is exactly how our opt-in process works:
The consumer sends a text message to one of our toll-free business phone numbers. This is the only way an SMS conversation begins — we never text first.
Our system immediately replies with a consent disclosure message (shown below). This message informs the consumer that by texting us they are consenting to receive SMS replies, discloses that message and data rates may apply, and provides clear opt-out instructions.
If the consumer continues the conversation, we respond to their inquiry. If they reply STOP at any time, all messaging ceases immediately.
This is exactly what a consumer sees when they text one of our numbers:
| Opt-In Method | Consumer-initiated — the consumer sends the first text message to our number |
| Consent Disclosure | Sent automatically as the first reply to every new inbound message |
| Message Purpose | Customer support and responding to inquiries about data products and services |
| Message Frequency | Varies — only in direct response to consumer-initiated conversations. No promotional or marketing messages. |
| Opt-Out | Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe from all future messages |
| Help | Reply HELP for support information and contact details |
You can stop receiving SMS messages at any time using any of these methods:
Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your wireless carrier and plan. Target Marketing List Corporation is not responsible for any charges incurred by your wireless carrier. SMS is supported on all major U.S. carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and others.
